Written by  Misty Lucero

It’s all about showing the woman who took the time out to raise you that you love and cherish her. So this year, do it up right with The Blendd's exclusive guide to Mother's Day.  Spend some time with momma, get her a lil champagne buzz going, and ship her off to the spa to get all polished up and pampered.

The following Denver spas are offering splendid Mother’s Day packages:

§ Spavia, which has three locations in the metro area, is offering a “pamper mom package:, which includes the Glo and Go Facial and a 60 min. Signature Massage for $105.

§ Spavital, of Cherry Creek North, has two packages to choose from: Mom's Recess, an 80 minute massage, 50 minute facial & mani/pedi combo for $220 or for your Mom On The Go, a 50 minute massage or facial for $85.

The Blendd’s Top Five Mother’s Day Brunch Picks:

§ Most Bang for Your Buck: For those with an appreciation for wine, and especially those located down south, Indulge Wine Bar is having     a delicious and very reasonably priced three-course lunch or dinner service with wine pairings, $29 for adults, $20 for kids/no wine.

§ Most Fun: If entertainment is what you’re looking for, look no further than the Velvet Elvis show at Lannie’s Clocktower Caberet. $40 ticket also gets you into the brunch buffet, one hour before show time. This always sells out, and they’re getting close, so book no

§ Most Impressive: If you want to go all out and impress, the Dom Perignon brunch at Ellyngton’s is the way to go. Located in the historic Brown Palace hotel, the buffet is lavish, over-the-top and just plain beautiful and features four price tiers: just brunch, Domaine Chandon, Moet et Chandon, and Dom Perignon. Advanced reservations required.

§ Most Decadent: The famously classy Capitol Grille on Larimer Square will serve up a luxurious menu for Mom, including lobster benedict, kona-rubbed tenderloin and chocolate truffles; $45/adult, $15/child.

§ Most Seafood: Let’s face it; a buffet is a great way to get your seafood fix, especially when seafood is the house specialty. Max Gill & Grill on South Gaylord will serve a full buffet; with crab legs, prime rib, benedicts, shrimp cocktail, oysters and more; $30/adult, $16/child.
